Our Brand
Our founder Laurette Kittle started Walker& Wade with a kaftan and a family vacation in Bali. The name of our brand, Walker&Wade, comes from Laurette's sons' middle names. The inspiration for our line is to bring a little bit of the beach back home. It’s our “beach-to-table” philosophy: infuse bright vivid colors and a carefree resort style into our everyday lives. All of our collections reflect our passions for color, design, pattern and travel. They incorporate traditional Balinese techniques of ikats, batiks, and floral prints from Bali. Our trademark is the custom bead work done by women artisans, working at home, empowered to provide a better life for their children.
We believe every woman is a goddess. We design for women of all ages and sizes. Our Mommy & Me line starts at age two and our women’s line is enjoyed by women of all generations. Our signature is versatility. We create pieces that can be dressed up, or worn for a day at the beach. We love creating pieces that make our customers feel effortlessly beautiful.
